Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying state-of-the-art AI solutions tailored for the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in machine learning, generative AI, and natural language processing, with a passion for tackling complex problems using multimodal data.

• Develop innovative AI solutions for healthcare applications, leveraging multimodal datasets.
• Develop foundation models using state-of-art architectures, algorithms and technology from the AI community.
• Derive performance metrics and communicate them to stake-holders.
• Generate evidence to highlight the clinical relevance and value of AI solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a supportive and knowledge-sharing environment.
• Lead and manage independent projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
• Efficiently handle and process large, complex datasets.

• Master’s degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, etc) with at least 5 years of relevant experience; OR
• Ph.D. in a related discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in deep learning, machine learning, natural language processing
• Hands-on experience coding in Python and proficiency in packages such as pytorch, tensorflow, langchain, llama-index, scikit-learn, numpy, scipy, pandas, matplotlib etc.
• Experience working with large datasets using SQL
• Familiarity with both open-source and proprietary generative AI models (e.g., prompt engineering, fine tuning, retrieval-augmented generation).
