Responsibilities
- Serve as interim nurse manager for the Endoscopy and Pain Management Clinic, guiding daily operations, patient flow, and staff performance.
- Lead nursing and support teams, ensuring safe, efficient procedures and adherence to policies; manage staffing, scheduling, and onboarding.
- Oversee high-volume procedural activity and clinic operations, including defined nurse-patient ratios (e.g., Endoscopy 1:1 in procedures; recovery ratios; Pain Management Clinic 1:1 in procedures, with appropriate recovery coverage).
- Partner with clinical leaders to optimize throughput, quality metrics, and patient experience; coordinate with informatics and payroll systems (EPIC, Kronos, Workday) and budgeting tools (Laborlytics).
- Ensure regulatory compliance, infection control, patient safety, and credentialing requirements are met; support staff development and performance improvement initiatives.
- Support testing and credentialing requirements for prospective hires and new leaders (pre-acceptance testing processes if applicable) and maintain readiness for audits or reviews.
- Maintain effective communication with staff, physicians, and leadership; address operational challenges quickly and with a focus on patient care excellence.
- Travel experience and a hands-on leadership approach are valued to sustain a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements
- License: Active Massachusetts RN license required; license may be pending at time of offer with expected licensure prior to start.
- Education: BSN required.
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience: 3–5 years of RN leadership/managerial experience in Endoscopy, surgical services, or equivalent settings; strong procedural skills; leadership and nurse manager experience required.
- Special qualifications: Endoscopy experience required; CGRN (gastroenterology RN) preferred; Epic experience required; familiarity with Kronos, Workday, and Laborlytics for staffing, payroll, and budgeting.
- Additional: Must be able to work Mon–Fri day shift and lead in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic environment; travel experience preferred; must have been separated from the prior employer for at least 6 months to be considered. Pending license acceptable at time of offer (with qualification timeline defined).
