BT/RBT - Prek & K-2 Float Coverage

Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Fairhaven, MA and is seeking a BT/RBT for the 2025-2026 school year .

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 2025-2026 school year

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM-2:45 PM

Location: Fairhaven, MA

Pay: Up to $28/hour , depending on licensure and experience

Position Details:

• Floating BT/RBT role at the Elementary School

• Support provided in a PreK ASD classroom and a K-2 ASD classroom

Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the BCBA

• Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral support in classroom or specialized settings

• Collect accurate, daily data on student behavior and skill acquisition

• Support students in developing communication, coping, and social skills

• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and school staff

• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

• Assist with crisis prevention and de-escalation strategies as trained

Requirements:

• RBT certification OR

• 2+ years of ABA experience working as a Behavior Therapist/Technician

The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
