As a Fine Garden Crew Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing the care of high-end residential gardens, guiding a dedicated crew, and ensuring that every project meets the highest standards. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Fine Garden Crew Members, providing hands-on support and mentorship to foster a skilled and cohesive team.
• Oversee the maintenance of perennial, annual, and vegetable gardens, ensuring the health and beauty of client landscapes.
• Perform light pruning of ornamental shrubs and small trees as needed.
• Manage the installation, removal, and maintenance of seasonal container gardens, fall plantings, and holiday décor.
• Collaborate with the Fine Garden/Horticulture Production Manager to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to client satisfaction.
• Maintain professionalism on and off the jobsite, including attending safety training and staff meetings.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of project paperwork and adherence to project timelines.
• Safely operate a truck with a trailer, following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in landscaping or fine gardening, including supervisory experience.
• Basic plant identification skills and ability to diagnose and treat plant and flower diseases.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and operate gardening and landscaping equipment.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to professionalism.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• US work authorization.

Compensation

$25.00 – $32.00 per hour , depending on experience. Overtime is regularly available.
