Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Hematology/Oncology inpatient unit position in Boston, MA, requiring strong high-acuity oncology experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Inpatient Hematology/Oncology unit (Lunder 10) in a large academic medical center setting
• High-acuity patient population including BMT and Cell Therapy (CAR-T) patients
• 36 hours per week on a day/night rotating schedule
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Every other holiday (EOH) required
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA only — Red Cross not accepted at this location)
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Strong hematology/oncology experience in high-acuity inpatient settings required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions
• Active MA license must be in hand prior to consideration — no pending licenses accepted

Additional Information

• Experience with BMT or CAR-T therapy is a strong plus
• ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification (preferred)
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential is preferred but not required
• Experience with inpatient oncology research patients is a plus
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
• No validated parking available at this Boston location; public parking costs approximately $17–$22 per day, and public transportation is recommended
• Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
• 13-week assignment
