Make a positive impact on young learners by supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a dynamic elementary school environment. This contract opportunity in the Pittsfield, MA area is ideal for RBTs passionate about working closely with children with Autism and helping them achieve their best each day.

In this full-time role, you'll provide dedicated classroom support within a substantially separate setting, focusing primarily on the needs of one elementary student with Autism. Working alongside educational staff and under the supervision of a district BCBA, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior support plans, collecting data, and fostering a nurturing, structured atmosphere for learning and growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Must hold active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Demonstrated experience supporting children with Autism, ideally in a school setting
• Strong understanding of ABA principles and practical application
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
• Excellent communication, observational, and organizational skills
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized behavioral interventions during the school day
• Collect and record behavioral data to inform progress and interventions
• Collaborate with the district BCBA for supervision and ongoing training
• Assist the classroom teacher with implementing lesson plans and adapting materials
• Provide positive, compassionate support and reinforcement to help students reach their goals
