RETAIL MARKETING DESIGNER

Location: Boston, Massachusetts Job Type: Contract Compensation Range: $30 - 32 per hour

Our Fortune 500 retail and apparel client is seeking a creative, bold, and digitally savvy Retail Marketing Designer to join their Direct Stores Team! Based out of Boston, your responsibilities include executing design solutions for brand visual centers, consumer journey signage updates, and in-store graphics, and supporting the team in creating presentation briefs and employee-facing tools. This position requires creating a strong partnership with the rest of the store Brand Marketing, Inline, and Growth Teams, covering a mix of disciplines and creative phases, from conception to graphic design and environmental design where needed. The ideal candidate possesses a collaborative attitude in addition to 2+ years of experience creating both digital and environmental experiences in retail environments. Responsibilities:

• Partner with the brand creative and inline team to develop the look & feel, layout, visual language, and visual execution of campaigns and tools.
• Lead the development of storytelling solutions across all commercial touchpoints in collaboration with the store Brand Marketing, Inline Concepts, and functional teams.
• Manage and provide clear direction to partners and fellow designers.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality work, on time, and on budget.
• Become an expert on the function and capabilities of our client's platforms.
• Build relationships across functions and gain an understanding of what teams' roles and responsibilities are.
• Gain knowledge of the brand's products, processes, trends, and the consumer.

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or design-related equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience in graphic design and art direction for large retail or key agency experience specific to the footwear/apparel industry.
• 2+ years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite skills
• 1+ year of experience in presentation development in Keynote.
• 2+ years experience in Asana, Trello, or other project tracking tools.
• Extensive knowledge of social media platforms.
