Manager, Commercial Finance

Our Team is based out of our office in Burlington, Massachusetts, where we work in-office Monday through Thursday each week, and remotely on Fridays. Team members must reside within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance from our Burlington office.
The Manager, Commercial Finance will be responsible for the development of accurate profit forecasting models, analyzing financial performance, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. This individual will also support the annual budgeting process and our forecasting activities. This position reports to the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis and is an individual contributor role.
What You’ll Accomplish
• Own and evolve comprehensive profit forecasting models across brands and sub-brands, incorporating volume, pricing, mix, marketing investment, cost, and margin drivers
• Lead brand and sub-brand P&L preparation, analysis, and performance reviews, partnering closely with Marketing and Commercial teams
• Run marketing ROI analysis, including spend effectiveness, campaign performance, and payback tracking
• Lead initiative analysis and tracking, ensuring financial rigor from business case through post-launch performance review
• Develop standard, scalable analytic models that operationalize the generation of insights, enabling faster, more consistent decision-making across teams
• Prepare and deliver periodic profit forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annual), with clear variance analysis versus plan and prior periods
• Identify risks and opportunities across revenue, margin, and investment plans, and recommend actionable trade-offs
• Play a key role in the annual budget and long-range planning processes, shaping assumptions and strategic scenarios
• Provide scenario and sensitivity analysis to support key commercial and investment decisions
• Develop executive-ready dashboards and insights that translate complex data into clear business implications
• Serve as a subject matter expert and administrator for forecasting, budgeting, and performance management tools
• Coach and influence cross-functional partners by bringing structure, clarity, and financial perspective to ambiguous problems

In addition, we are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field; an MBA or a Master of Finance is preferred
- At least 5-7 years of experience in financial planning, profit forecasting, or a related role
- Proven track record in developing financial models and providing strategic insights
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and forecasting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy of work

The annual salary range for this position is $118,900.00 to $175,900.00 based on a full-time work schedule, anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational equity. Compensation may vary within that pay range depending on the selected candidate’s professional background, experience, operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The full compensation details will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer and may include eligibility for participation in a bonus program.
