Compensation Range: $60/hr – $65/hr

Job Description:
The Systems Test Engineer will support verification and validation efforts for electro-mechanical systems by designing and executing comprehensive test protocols to ensure product performance, reliability, and compliance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Generate and execute test plans and protocols based on design inputs
• Lead and conduct Design Verification Testing (DVT), including reliability testing
• Configure and validate test instrumentation and test fixtures
• Operate and troubleshoot lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and DAQ systems
• Document, analyze, and report test results while ensuring full traceability
• Support data analysis and validation of test results
• Train and guide other team members on testing procedures and lab best practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams to resolve testing issues

• Requirements:

• Must-Haves:
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical focus preferred)
  • 3 years of Verification & Validation (V&V) or systems testing experience
  • Proficiency with LabVIEW, MATLAB, or equivalent data acquisition/testing tools
  • Experience with communication interfaces such as UART, USB, or CAN
  • Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical lab instrumentation and test equipment
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and structured test documentation
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering team
• Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience supporting Design Verification Testing (DVT) programs
  • Familiarity with automated test frameworks or scripting for test execution
  • Experience working in regulated or highly controlled engineering environments
