Data-Video Contributor for AI Training
Record first-person videos of routine household tasks using your smartphone to produce high-quality training data for AI. This contract role pays hourly and centers on capturing synchronized, repeatable video and motion data while following project guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Film specified household tasks from a first-person perspective using a smartphone mounted on a head strap or wearable.
- Capture synchronized video footage and associated motion data, including IMU readings when required.
- Perform the same physical tasks repeatedly and consistently, following detailed instructions and project criteria.
- Complete a device compatibility check and participate in an AI-enabled interview as part of onboarding.
- Experience with video capturing and basic understanding of inertial measurement unit, IMU, data is preferred.
- High attention to detail, ability to follow step-by-step instructions, and consistent recording practices.
- Comfort wearing a phone mount/head strap that will be shipped to you.
- Physical capability to perform repetitive movement tasks safely for extended periods.
- Must own one of the following compatible smartphones: iPhone 12 or later, Google Pixel 6, 7, 8, or 9, or Samsung Galaxy S21 or later.
- Engagement type: Contractor role, fully remote.
- Work location requirement: Based in one of the following U.S. states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.
- Start timeline: Roles are being filled immediately, start date depends on shipping time for the head strap equipment to your address.
- Equipment: You must provide a compatible smartphone. A head strap or wearable phone mount will be shipped to you and must be used for first-person recordings.
- Pay rate: $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, paid based on hours of recorded video you submit that meet project guidelines.
- Signing bonus and reimbursement: You will receive a $20 signing bonus and reimbursement for the head strap purchase after you complete 20 hours of approved work.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Complete an initial device compatibility check to confirm your smartphone and settings meet project requirements.
- Participate in an AI-enabled interview as part of onboarding to verify ability to follow instructions and record required tasks.
- Once approved, you will receive the wearable equipment by shipment and can begin recording; payment begins for approved submitted recordings according to the compensation terms.
