Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Cambridge, MA 02138 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Nursing Float Pool – Medical-Surgical (Telemetry)
• Contract Length: 8 weeks (January 5, 2026 – February 28, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours: 36 hours per week (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
• Employment Type: Travel RN contract

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts RN license preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and float to multiple hospital units
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills
• Travel nurses only – local Massachusetts candidates not eligible

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EPIC EMR
• Float to various units within the hospital as needed to provide clinical support
• Deliver compassionate education and support to patients and their families
