Job Summary
The Retail Food Service Manager is responsible for supporting the Director in the overall success of food service operations, with a focus on managing small retail kiosk locations. This role ensures adherence to the client’s culture and expectations, compliance with Health Department regulations, and alignment with company standards and policies. The manager will also lead, train, and develop frontline staff to meet service goals and deliver high customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient and high-quality service.
- Plan and supervise special events and functions.
- Manage cash handling procedures, monitor payroll records, and assist in frontline hiring.
- Direct and train staff to execute scheduled retail services.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and quality standards.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports accurately and on time.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or food service operational management.
- Background in restaurant, hotel, corporate dining, education, military, or healthcare food service operations.
- Experience in retail marketing is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing cash-handling and retail point-of-sale operations.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet tools.
- Associate's degree preferred.
