We are a private housing agency that supports adults with developmental disabilities in living as independently and purposefully as possible. Each resident has a dedicated team that supports them in their home, workplace, and within the community, helping them thrive in all aspects of daily life.

We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at one of our homes in Newton. This is a part-time position, totaling 18 hours per week, with a consistent schedule of Tuesday through Thursday from 2-8 PM. Candidates must have availability for these exact hours.

The Assistant Manager plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the home while ensuring high-quality care for residents during scheduled shifts. This position requires professionalism, consistency, and a strong commitment to both the residents and the team. The Assistant Manager works collaboratively with leadership and direct care staff to maintain a structured, supportive, and positive living environment.

During each shift, responsibilities include dinner preparation and cooking for 10 residents and supporting residents in their daily routines.

The home is led by a full-time House Manager who works 40 hours per week. The Assistant Manager will have crossovers and supervision with the House Manager when coming onto shift Tuesdays – Thursdays, but the Assistant Manager will be working the shifts independently. On call support is available from both the House Manager and the Clinical Director as needed.

Rate is between $22-$23 per hour.
