Police Officers
The Norwood PD is currently accepting applications from motivated individuals interested in a police officer position with the Norwood Police Department. As a Police Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining law and order, protecting the community, and ensuring public safety.
Entry Level applicants are required to receive a passing getbadged Entry Exam score of 70% and above. Visit to register for your entry exam. Multiple exam dates are offered every month.
If you are a FT Academy Trained POST Certified or Lateral Transfer Officer, you are NOT required to take the entry exam. Simply activate your getbadged membership and you can immediately apply for consideration.
