Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Electrician to install and wire electrical systems for high-end residential construction and renovations. The ideal candidate will interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to execute complex layouts with precision, ensuring all work aligns with Massachusetts electrical code standards. We are looking for someone who hold 3+ years of residential experience at the minimum. Starting pay rate will be between $35 - $45 an hour depending on skill level.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire electrical systems for new high-end residential construction and renovations.
• Interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to execute complex layouts with accuracy.
• Install lighting systems including recessed lighting, smart lighting, architectural fixtures, and landscape lighting.
• Set up electrical panels, sub-panels, and service upgrades in accordance with Massachusetts electrical code.
• Integrate smart-home technologies such as automation systems, EV chargers, and whole-home networking.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues with a focus on safety and long-term reliability.
• Collaborate with general contractors, designers, and homeowners to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain compliance with state and local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Document work performed and communicate progress to project stakeholders.

Essential Skills

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician specializing in residential new construction.
• Ability to work from blueprints and communicate effectively with sub-contractors.
• Capacity to manage an apprentice and work alongside them.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and wiring electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• MA Journeyman Electrical License.
• Basic JM electrician tools.

Work Environment

You will work on multi-million dollar residential new builds, including prestigious projects such as a $40M home in Weston, MA. The role offers a dynamic work environment where high standards and quality craftsmanship are valued.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woburn, MA.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
