About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, 01201!

Shift:

• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour day shifts)
• 3 shifts/week (36 hrs, sometimes 48) [ For 36 hrs Gross Pay: $2,418.00 & For 48 hrs Gross Pay: $3,582.00]
• Every other weekend + holidays as needed
• Must float to other Med Surg units

Responsibilities (short):

• Care for post-op and medical-surgical patients
• Monitor telemetry (heart rhythms)
• Give meds, IV care, and routine treatments
• Watch for patient deterioration and escalate quickly
• Document care in EMR (Meditech)
• Typical load: about 1 nurse for 6 patients

Requirements

Requirements:

• 2+ years recent Med Surg experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Post-op patient care experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (must be active at submission)
• Massachusetts RN license
• Basic dysrhythmia course (strongly preferred)
• Meditech Expanse experience (preferred)
