The Quality Control Technician plays a vital role in protecting product integrity and ensuring that every item produced meets established quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.
Working closely with Production and Quality teams, you'll perform inspections, testing, and documentation activities that help prevent non-conformances and ensure that only safe, high-quality products reach our customers.

What You'll Do
- Collect product samples and perform quality testing, including brix, viscosity, pH, and other required analyses.
- Verify that batch records, quality checks, and production documentation are accurate and complete.
- Identify, investigate, and document non-conforming materials and place products on quality hold when necessary.
- Perform sanitation verification activities, including environmental swabbing and allergen testing, to support food safety initiatives.
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products consistently meet established specifications.
- Pull samples for in-process and finished product testing and validation activities.
- Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity within designated areas.
- Perform visual inspections of incoming raw materials and finished products.
- Review product labels to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to address quality concerns and support continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of Quality Control experience, preferably within a food manufacturing environment.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours as business needs require.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures accurately and consistently.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
- Experience working with HACCP-based food safety programs.
- Familiarity with food testing methods and laboratory procedures.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards.
