Location: Worcester, MA (Hybrid)

Schedule : Monday - Friday (7:00 AM to 9:30 PM Eastern time) & a rotating Saturday (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

Pay Rate : $25/HR (For first 4-6 months of contract)

Pay Rate Upon Conversion : $55K/Year

About the Role

Join our Customer Service Center team and help deliver an exceptional service experience to independent insurance agents and their customers. As an Insurance Service Professional, you’ll participate in a comprehensive training program designed to set you up for long-term success. You’ll learn our client’s service philosophy, gain hands-on system training, and build the skills needed to grow your career within the Personal Lines organization. In this consultative service role, you’ll support customers by educating them on personal lines P&C products, ensuring they have the protection they need. You’ll handle a wide range of inquiries—from simple questions to complex coverage concerns—while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset.

Candidates MUST hold an active Property & Casualty License or Personal Lines (PL) Producer License.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound calls and make informed decisions with minimal assistance.
  • Provide accurate, research-based insurance guidance to customers and agents across multiple states.
  • Interpret, verify, and communicate coverage details and underwriting guidelines.
  • Respond to inquiries using established standards for timeliness, quality, and effectiveness.
  • Recommend and secure additional or increased coverage within carrier guidelines.
  • Conduct full account reviews on every call to ensure customers are properly protected.
  • Collaborate with Sales team partners when additional lines of business are needed for final binding.
  • Review and respond to written correspondence; request additional information when necessary.
  • Process policy changes, billing adjustments, and policy issuance transactions across multiple channels.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by following through on all billing and policy updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of Personal Lines and/or P&C industry experience; call center experience strongly preferred.
  • Active Property & Casualty License or PL Producer License (required).
  • Reliable hardwired internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps upload / 50 Mbps download).
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Experience offering and closing needs-based coverage opportunities.
  • Ability to navigate obstacles, remain flexible, and find solutions that satisfy all parties.
  • Positive attitude, patience, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
  • Confident, timely decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and educate.

This is a Contract position based out of Worcester, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $25.00/hr.
