Must have completed ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years ABA Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful difference each day by empowering young learners as a Registered Behavior Technician in an elementary school setting focused on students in grades K-2. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educators in a structured special education environment, providing intensive behavioral and classroom support to high-needs students with autism. The assignment begins as soon as possible and will extend through the remainder of the current school year, with the possibility for continuation.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience working with students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), especially those with significant behavioral or communication needs
- Prior school-based experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), skilled in behavior tracking, and familiarity with de-escalation strategies
- SafetyCare training is highly desirable
- Able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with staff
- Comfortable supporting students in structured special education settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, one-on-one behavioral interventions in accordance with individualized student plans
- Implement and maintain data-driven behavior tracking and regularly update student progress
- Support classroom management and positively reinforce student behaviors
- Assist teachers and specialists with implementing Behavior Intervention Plans and de-escalation strategies
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for students with unique communication and behavioral needs
- Actively participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
