Part Time Server
Â
The Dining Room Server serves as a member of the Dining and Food Department team. We are hiring for both. (*Please note this is a buffet style dining room atmosphere in which individuals serve themselves).Â
This role is responsible for ensuring that our buffets are well stocked while offering knowledgeable, friendly service to all guests, staff, and volunteers.Â
The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, as well as being punctual, reliable, and having a helpful positive attitude.Â
Schedule:
- Part-Time: 24 Hours

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Restocks all dishware and silverware during service while ensuring everything is clean.Â
Maintains dining areas (daily cleaning, stocking, and general maintenance).Â
Maintains communication during service with cooksâ team to ensure there is a continuous supply of food for buffet line.Â
Maintains high standards of personal hygiene. Follows hand washing protocol. Practices appropriate standards of dress, including shirts with sleeves, closed toe shoes, hair restraint, and wearing of single use gloves when handling food. Complies with Massachusetts Food Code and HACCP protocol.Â
Operates all equipment according to the manufacturerâs directions with emphasis given to safety guidelines. Notifies Lead Dining Room Supervisor of any malfunction, damage, or loss of equipment. Checks hot holding equipment to make sure equipment is empty before turning on. Ensures hot holding equipment is empty and turned off before leaving for the day.Â
Attends job related training classes and workshops. Â
Performs all other duties as assigned by management.Â

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONSÂ
High school diploma or equivalent.Â
Basic communication skills.Â
Ability to lift 30 pounds, carry 30 pounds, and push and pull 95 pounds of force.Â
Ability to stand/walk on hard floors for long periods of timeÂ
