A day in this role

• Begin your shift reviewing work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans, interpreting GD&T to validate setups and tolerances.
• Set up and operate advanced CNC mills and lathes, fully understanding programs and making on-the-fly edits to produce complex, non-routine components.
• Tackle challenging cuts: compound angles, multi-lead and non-standard threads, helical gears, worm threads, and surfaces with tightly interrelated dimensions that demand creative fixturing and toolpath strategies.
• Program at the machine on the shop floor, execute multiple setups, perform in-place machining on fixtures, debug first-run programs, and adjust or recommend program changes for quality and throughput.

What you bring

• 7–10 years of machining experience in a production manufacturing environment.
• Advanced command of CNC machining concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Exposure to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret machining and fabrication drawings.
• Strong math, geometry, and trigonometry skills with solid GD&T understanding.
• Exceptional attention to detail, clear communication, and collaborative mindset.

Compensation and benefits

• Pay range: $33–$40 per hour + bonus plan
• 15% shift differential and a $1k sign-on bonus
