Hybrid Real Estate Accountant $100,000/year

We are seeking a motivated Accountant to support our ambitious growth goals. This role will be critical in overseeing accounting activities, conducting research, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting for our real estate investment operations. The accountant will streamline the monthly and quarterly close, consolidation, and reporting processes, making this an integral position within our finance team. This position is offering a hybrid set up – 3 days in office and 2 days remote. It has a base pay of $90,000 to $100,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for real estate investments
• Perform cash and transaction reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Assist in preparing financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings
• Prepare financial statements and assist with SEC filings
• Support the external audit process, including quarterly reviews and diligence projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• CPA preferred
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting and/or real estate investment management
• Familiarity with Yardi accounting software is a plus
