You teach with an equal partner. Every classroom at Primrose has two co-teachers. Not a lead teacher and an assistant. Not one person carrying the room while the other helps when they can. Two teachers, with shared ownership, shared voice, and shared responsibility. You make decisions together. You solve problems together. You build the classroom together. Your classroom has real coverage.
Each classroom has a dedicated support teacher who knows your students, your routines, and your expectations. They are not a random substitute walking in cold. They are part of the structure of the school. They help cover breaks, planning time, and days when someone is out. That means your students get consistency, your classroom keeps moving, and you are not constantly paying the cost of staffing gaps. You have an education coach in your corner.
Every Primrose teacher is paired with a dedicated education coach. This is not someone who only appears for formal observations or when something goes wrong. Your coach is there consistently, as a thought partner, resource, and advocate. From your first day, they help make sure you understand the classroom, the curriculum, the expectations, and the support available to you. When a challenging situation comes up, you are not left alone to handle it. You have someone helping you think through it, act on it, and grow from it. Your planning happens at work.
We protect planning time during your scheduled hours. We do not believe teachers should have to take work home at night to feel prepared for the next day. You should be able to leave work knowing what is done, what is ready, and what tomorrow requires. Your classroom materials are provided.
You should not have to spend your own money to make your classroom work. We provide the materials, supplies, curriculum resources, and classroom tools you need. Your job is to teach, observe, guide, connect, and help children grow. It is not to personally fund the classroom. Who we are looking for
We are looking for a certified, experienced early childhood teacher who wants more than just another classroom job. You have real experience with young children. You understand that early childhood education requires patience, judgment, consistency, warmth, and skill. You know that the work matters, and you want to be in a school that treats it that way. You are not looking for a place to coast. You are looking for a place where you can take ownership of your role, be challenged to improve, and receive the support needed to do strong work every day. This role may be a strong fit if:
You hold a Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care teacher certification. You have experience in early childhood education, with preschool or Pre-K experience preferred. You are looking for a full-time position. You want a classroom where responsibilities are shared, not dumped on one person.
