Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Location: Hyannis, MA 02601

Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel

Shift: 36 hours/week | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Rotating weekends & holidays

Pay Range: $65 – $70/hour ($2,340 – $2,520 weekly)

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process and maintain accurate patient records.

• Assess and document patient status, including physical, psychological, and social needs, along with discharge planning.

• Initiate, update, and communicate individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.

• Administer and monitor patient responses to medications and treatments.

• Serve as a resource to staff by demonstrating proficiency in charge nurse responsibilities, staff orientation, and education.

• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems effectively for documentation and care coordination.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellence in patient care.

• Follow hospital safety policies, including blood and body fluid precautions.

• Maintain current knowledge of best practices in maternal and neonatal care.

• Support patients and families with education, guidance, and compassionate communication.

• Uphold professional nursing standards and promote a culture of accountability, respect, and service excellence.

• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).

• Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required).

• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (required).

• Completion of Fetal Monitoring Course within the last 2 years.

• Recent OB/L&D experience within the past 2 years (required).

• CPI (Crisis Prevention) certification (preferred).
