About the Salesforce Solution Consultant Position
This postion can be in our Boston office or remote if out of state.
The Senior Solution Consultant plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering Salesforce solutions that align with client business objectives and drive measurable value. Acting as both a trusted advisor and a hands-on architect, this role blends strategic insight with technical expertise to guide clients through the full lifecycle of Salesforce engagements. The Senior Solution Consultant partners closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and client stakeholders to uncover business challenges, translate them into scalable platform requirements, and deliver innovative solutions across Salesforce Clouds. In addition to leading solution design and implementation, the Senior Solution Consultant contributes to business development through proposals, thought leadership, and pre-sales efforts, ensuring clients receive forward-looking strategies, seamless integrations, and long-term success with their Salesforce investments.
Responsibilities
Partner with client stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into Salesforce solution requirements.
Define solution architecture, technical vision, and implementation roadmap across Salesforce Clouds.
Lead scalable solution design, platform integration, and development oversight.
Guide clients through Salesforce implementations as the technical lead.
Provide solution estimates, articulate trade-offs, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Design and deliver innovative Salesforce solutions including configuration, automation, integrations, and data modeling.
Support business development by contributing to proposals, solutioning, and client presentations.
Stay current on Salesforce innovations, product releases, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
7+ years of Salesforce implementation and delivery experience.
Proven expertise in designing and optimizing business processes and integrating workflows across systems.
Strong business insight combined with the ability to work seamlessly with stakeholders across multiple teams.
Skilled at analyzing challenges, evaluating trade-offs, and making informed platform-level decisions.
Excellent client-facing, written, and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Data Cloud or CPQ/RCA is a plus.
Active Salesforce Platform certifications required.

Compensation & Benefits
$145,000 - $160,000
In accordance with applicable law, the above salary range provided is Verndale's reasonable estimate of the salary for this role. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary, Verndale also offers a competitive benefits package.
