Front Desk help needed for busy Dermatology Office

Experienced or Looking for a career change?
This position would be Checking In and Checking Out patients. Making appointments for new and existing patients in our EMA Mod Med System (very user friendly). Screening calls, entering demographics, verifying insurance and working on insurance referrals. The position consists of answering high volume of phone calls. Our patients and team are great to work with!
Desired Qualities:
- Previous scheduling or call center experience a plus.
- Medical office experience preferred but not a must
- Checking in patients
- Collecting copayments and past balances
- Verifying insurance
- Insurance referrals
- Assures phones are answered in a professional and courteous manner
- Demonstrates a positive attitude towards coworkers and patients
- Efficient with their time and can self manage
- Strong attention to detail and verbal communication
- High level of accuracy
- Experience preferred but willing to train the right person
- Use of EMA software a plus
- Pay commensurate with experience
- Looking for committed people with strong work history
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
