Survey CAD Technician

Responsibilities + Draft boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D. + Assist the engineering team with drafting tasks including layers, grading, and pipe networks. + Process and manage field data collected via GPS and total station equipment. + Coordinate with field crews, project managers, and engineers to ensure accurate data workflows. + Conduct deed and map research to support boundary resolution. + Maintain organized drawing files and contribute to drafting standards. + Write metes and bounds descriptions. + Assist in developing and refining CAD procedures and file management systems. + Occasionally support field crews with data collection, if needed. Requirements + At least 3+ years of experience working in the Land Surveying industry. + Proficiency in AutoCAD & Civil 3D software design. + Experience in preparing Topographic, Boundary, and ALTA Surveys. + Knowledge of boundary survey software and civil design. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Somerville, NJ.
