Product Advocate

We are now seeking a dedicated and proactive Product Advocate to join our Boston office, following the internal promotion of one of our amazing team members. This role is pivotal in assisting and converting Funnel’s free users by helping them maximize the platform’s features to achieve their goals. It combines sales and customer support, allowing you to develop and strengthen both skill sets.
In this role, you’ll:
Handle questions about the product, use cases, features, and pricing from free users via calls, Intercom tickets, and email.
Actively resolve user inquiries to increase activation, engagement, and conversion rates.
Conduct discovery and demo calls with qualified free users.
Close Won Tier 1 deals (smaller deals) and hand over Tier 2 and 3 deals (bigger deals) to our Sales teams.
Become an expert in the Funnel product.
Represent our users, understanding their needs and making them champions of our platform.
Develop strong sales skills.
Leverage AI-powered tools and inputs to speed up research, customer-written communication, note-taking in HS, team brainstormings, and PA processes.
Meet and exceed SLAs and KPIs, including MRR, activities completed, connected leads rate, and productivity. You will also contribute to a shared revenue target.
Contribute to experiments to identify high-potential customers and provide feedback to the Marketing team.
Follow up with new Tier 1 paying customers to ensure a smooth onboarding experience, in alignment with Customer Success.
Collaborate with the product team to improve the user experience.
Think strategically, propose new ways of working, and invest in your self-development.
The team
As a Product Advocate, you will be part of the Scaled Revenue department at Funnel. Our global Product Advocate Team plays a crucial role in our PLG motion, enhancing the customer experience of our free users and converting them into paying customers.

Have a minimum of 1 year of experience managing a high volume of users in a PLG-driven company.
Have previous experience in a B2B, sales closing role or customer support/consulting role.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, think strategically, and excel in tactical execution.
Are empathetic to user needs and understand their roles and priorities.
Have a strong technical aptitude and a passion for MarTech.
Enjoy helping and selling to customers across Intercom, email, and phone.
Work well in teams but also enjoy autonomy.
Have experience with platforms like HubSpot and Intercom.
Possess a growth mindset and are experimental, communicative, and data-driven.
Are fluent in English (written and spoken). A secondary language (French, Spanish, Portuguese, or German) is highly preferred

Other information
This role is based in our Boston office. We value in-person collaboration, so we work from the office 4 days a week. We do not currently support relocation and, therefore, will consider only applicants with valid work permits or appropriate citizenship.
