Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and drive the global research strategy in oncology and immunology, ensuring alignment with company goals and clinical development needs.
- Lead discovery efforts from target identification through IND-enabling studies, leveraging proprietary antibody technologies, including monoclonal antibodies, bispecifics, ADCs, and other innovative formats.
- Foster seamless collaboration between China-based discovery teams and international stakeholders, aligning global R&D execution and strategic direction.
- Build and lead a world-class research team across Shanghai and global sites; attract, develop, and retain top scientific talent in a high-performance culture.
- Represent the company at major scientific forums and with key opinion leaders, academic collaborators, and industry partners worldwide.
- Support external innovation efforts, including scientific due diligence, alliance evaluation, and research-stage partnership opportunities.

The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. in Immunology, Oncology, or a life science related discipline.
- 15+ years of research leadership in bio-pharmaceutical or biotech environments, with demonstrated success in biologics drug discovery and antibody platform innovation.
- Deep scientific expertise in antibody-based drug development, particularly in oncology and/or immunology.
- Strong leadership experience in managing geographically distributed R&D teams and global collaboration models.
- Proven track record in progressing programs from discovery through IND submission.
- Prior experience in a publicly listed biopharma company or high-growth biotech is preferred.
- Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.
- English proficiency is highly desirable to support global collaboration and communication.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work across international time zones, based in Boston or/and Shanghai
