We're Hiring! Art Market Sales Associate

We're looking to staff our booth at SoWa Boston Summer Art Market!

The Hermit on Green Street (Red + Wolf Paper Co.) is looking for someone local to run our booth at SoWa Art Market on Sundays with optional additional market days if interested.

Red + Wolf Paper Co., an eco-friendly paper goods brand created by The Hermit on Green Street, is looking for a personable, reliable, and creative individual to run our booth at Boston-area markets, primarily the SoWa Art Market.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, independent role where you will manage all aspects of the pop-up booth, including setup, merchandising, sales, and breakdown. You will be representing a small, thoughtfully built brand

centered around art, storytelling, and sustainability. Please note a car is required, as the role involves transporting and setting up the market booth.

Responsibilities

• Transport inventory, tent, tables, and display materials to and from market
• Set up and merchandise the booth in a visually appealing way
• Engage with customers and share the story behind the brand
• Process sales throughout the day
• Break down and pack materials at the end of the market
• Occasional travel to Hingham, MA for restocking

Schedule

• Sundays: SoWa Art Market (approx. 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) in Boston's South End
• Optional Saturdays: Greenway Market or other local markets

Compensation

• $100–$120 day rate (depending on experience)
• Plus 10% commission on sales
• Most days range from approximately $120–$200 total earnings

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle large enough to transport tent, tables, and inventory ( A car is required )
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working independently and managing the booth solo
• Strong communication and customer service skills
