Senior Analyst, Marketing Operations & Strategy - Wayfair Professional

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join the B2B Marketing Operations team. This is a high-impact, "connective tissue" role that sits at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, Technology, and Analytics. You will be responsible for the "engine room" of our marketing organization-focusing on cross-team project management, performance forecasting, and operational planning.
The ideal candidate is a hybrid: part project manager, part analytical powerhouse, and part business strategist. You are as comfortable building a complex SQL query or a forecasting model as you are leading a cross-functional meeting to align different teams on a shared roadmap.
What You'll Do:

Deep-dive into marketing performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities. You will translate complex datasets into actionable narratives for senior leadership.

Own the B2B marketing forecasting process. You will partner with Finance and Marketing leadership to set targets, model "what-if" scenarios, and ensure our investments are optimized for high-LTV growth.

Build and maintain the dashboards and reporting frameworks (SQL/Looker) that the Marketing team uses to run the business daily.

Identify "friction points" in how our teams work together and design new workflows, cadences, and tools to improve speed-to-market and execution quality.

Help define the annual and quarterly planning cycles, ensuring that our roadmap is perfectly aligned with our business goals.
What You'll Need:

3+ years of experience in marketing operations, management consulting, tech/SaaS, or an analytical marketing role.

Proficiency in SQL is required. Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, or Google Data Studio) and a strong command of Excel/Google Sheets for financial modeling. (Experience with R or Python is a plus).

Proven ability to manage complex projects with many stakeholders. You can "manage up" to senior leaders and "manage across" to technical partners.

You don't just report numbers; you explain the "why" behind them. You have a "zero-defect" mentality when it comes to data accuracy.

An understanding of B2B marketing nuances (long sales cycles, lead scoring, account-based marketing) is preferred.

A "get stuff done" attitude. You thrive in ambiguity and can pivot quickly when business priorities shift.
