A leading private markets investment firm is growing its digital client experience platform and is looking for a Data Product Owner to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of data solutions that power client-facing digital tools and reporting.
This role sits at the intersection of data, product, and business , connecting client needs with scalable, high-quality data solutions. You’ll define product roadmaps, work hands-on with data, and collaborate across product, engineering, marketing, and operations teams to improve transparency and engagement.
What You’ll Do
- Own the roadmap for data products supporting client-facing platforms.
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, and specifications.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define data models and transformation logic.
- Manage delivery using agile practices, leading backlog prioritization and sprint planning.
- Partner with data engineering to ensure scalable integration, governance, and quality.
- Provide insights and reporting that enhance the client digital experience.
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Data Product Owner or in a similar product/data strategy role.
- Strong SQL skills; Python experience is a plus.
- Background in financial services or private markets preferred.
- Solid understanding of data governance, modeling, and quality frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent experience.
