Animal Technician
Title: Animal Technician
Location: Boston MA.
Start Date: ASAP!!
Position: 1 (2/23)
Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire
PR: $21 per hr .
Hours: 7am-3:30pm; Mon-Fri the hours may change to (Sun- Thurs or Tues – Sat).
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- Exp. with care of Animals (large animals and N HP (non human primates)) You will be trained
- Minimal animal handling
- Willing to consider recent graduates who want to work with animals and in a lab setting!!
“Nice to Haves”:
- 1+ yrs. animal husbandry/care experience
- Experience in a research animal care facility
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform animal husbandry tasks
- Provide research support services
- Will provide food and water to animals
- Evaluate animal’s health and assess animals for behavioral problems
- Provide facility maintenance and sanitation
