Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Cardiology, EP Tech for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures
• Perform scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and hemodynamic recording duties according to department policies
• Operate interventional imaging and procedural equipment safely and effectively
• Prepare sterile trays and procedural supplies before procedures
• Assist with administration of contrast media under physician direction
• Support all aspects of the Electrophysiology (EP) program
• Monitor and document hemodynamic parameters during procedures
• Coordinate workflow to maximize procedural efficiency and patient throughput
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Assist with safe patient transfers to procedure tables, wheelchairs, and stretchers
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards
• Assist with department inventory and supply management

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• Current ARRT registration required
• Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Challenge Exam or Basic Arrhythmia course within 12 months of hire
• Completion of IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) Course required
• Strong knowledge of interventional radiology and cardiovascular invasive procedures

Experience Requirements

Special Procedures Tech 2 (Job Code 8152)

• Two (2) years post-technical school radiology experience
  OR
• Six (6) months recent experience as a Special Procedures Technologist within the last two years
• Completion of EP training program required

Special Procedures Tech 3 (Job Code 8153)

• Five (5) years recent Cardiovascular EP experience within the last five years
  OR
• Any two (2) of the following:
  • Cardiac Interventional (CI) Certification
  • Vascular Interventional (VI) Certification
  • RCIS Certification
• Completion of EP training program
