Key Responsibilities

• Content Analytics & Knowledge Management: Design and develop workflows for literature mining, summarization, and trend analysis using cutting-edge AI/NLP tools. Maintain external information endpoints aligned with FAIR principles to ensure data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable.
• AI & Advanced Analytics: Apply machine learning and large language models (LLMs) to improve content retrieval and automate classification tasks. Research innovative AI solutions tailored for scientific content analysis.
• Information Science: Support pharmaceutical R&D by applying knowledge of data lifecycle management, metadata standards, ontologies, and scientific knowledge systems, ensuring data is structured and semantically meaningful.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner effectively with cross-functional teams, act as a subject matter expert for AI-driven content analytics initiatives, and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure all data and content activities adhere to copyright, licensing, and data governance standards. Implement robust data integrity measures and maintain audit trails for AI processes.
• Training & Enablement: Lead training initiatives on AI/NLP tools, develop guidelines for digital and data science capabilities, and foster a culture of continuous learning in content analytics technologies.

Required Skills

• Strong experience or interest in NLP, LLM applications (transformers, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt engineering)
• Familiarity with data visualization and scientific communication tools
• Knowledge of knowledge graph and ontology management
• Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks relevant to text analytics
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Adaptability to emerging AI and data science technologies

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with biomedical literature databases and scientific content curation
• Knowledge of FAIR data principles and semantic technologies in scientific contexts
• Publications or contributions to AI or data science projects in biomedical domains
• Certifications in data science, AI, or knowledge management tools

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or related field; Master’s or PhD highly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in content analytics, biomedical informatics, or a related area—industry experience is a plus

Other Requirements

• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with 2 days per week in the office and 3 days remote, or fully remote within the UK
• Own a personal laptop compatible with VDI protocols, as company equipment is not provided
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of data governance and compliance
