We are looking for a dedicated Part Time Teller to join our team in Chelsea, Massachusetts. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while efficiently processing financial transactions and promoting our products and services. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to build lasting relationships with members and grow professionally within the banking industry.
Responsibilities:• Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing member needs effectively.
• Process financial transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, while adhering to operational policies and procedures.
• Identify customer needs through meaningful conversations and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and organizational policies during all transaction processes.
• Balance daily transactions and reconcile personal cash drawer to maintain accuracy and accountability.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and digital banking tools.
• Educate members on online and mobile banking functionalities to enhance their banking experience.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless branch operation and member satisfaction.
• Adapt to changes in technology and procedures, showing flexibility and eagerness to learn.
• Maintain awareness of audit requirements and support operational excellence within the branch.• Minimum of 1 year of experience in cash handling or customer service within the banking industry.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, including transaction processing and compliance standards.
• Ability to accurately handle cash activities and reconcile daily transactions.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with members and colleagues.
• Familiarity with digital banking platforms and eagerness to embrace new technologies.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing procedures and operational needs.
