Domestic Operations Agent
- Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure delivery by promised deadlines.
- Process incoming orders and assign them to the appropriate carriers for dispatch.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within regional logistics operations, ensuring alignment with the regional supply chain strategy to support business growth and achieve company objectives.
- Oversee transportation and documentation for freight shipments across the U.S., including preparation of delivery notes, transfer orders, and shipment records.
- Monitor carrier performance against operational agreements and serve as the primary escalation point for Logistics Service Providers and internal teams on service-related issues.
- Lead or support investigations related to shipment complaints and claims, ensuring thorough follow-up and resolution.
- Collaborate with customer service to provide updates on order status and address special customer requirements.
- Identify and resolve delivery-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Evaluate internal logistics processes and provide recommendations for improvement to the Logistics Director.
- Ensure consistent and effective order distribution by coordinating with multiple carrier partners and third-party logistics sites to guarantee reliable and on-time freight delivery.
- Perform additional logistics and support tasks assigned.
- Freight industry experience preferred, however, we are open to training the right candidate.
- Experience in freight forwarding operations processes and procedures.
