Dental hygienist

Dental hygienist

Provide dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
Take and process dental radiographs.
Conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, chart oral conditions, and maintain accurate patient records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and the connection between oral and systemic health.
Document and communicate findings and treatment recommendations to the dentist.
Adhere to infection‑control protocols and OSHA/HIPAA standards.
Participate in team meetings and stay current with clinical best practices and continuing education.

part-time $48 - $58 per hour

Monday: 9:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Valid Massachusetts dental hygiene license.
CPR certification.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail.
Ability to perform clinical hygiene procedures and capture dental x‑rays.
Commitment to infection control and accurate charting.

• General Dentistry

Prior clinical experience in a general dentistry practice.
Experience with scaling/root planing and periodontal maintenance.
Familiarity with digital radiography and dental practice management / electronic health record software.
New graduates with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.
