We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing and Accounting Specialist to support invoicing, reporting, and account maintenance activities in Attleboro, Massachusetts. This position plays an important role in ensuring billing accuracy, coordinating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, and providing timely financial information to management. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with billing systems, reviewing sales and inventory data, and handling a range of accounting support tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:• Generate customer invoices by verifying billing details against supporting documentation from multiple facilities before processing.
• Distribute completed invoices to customers in a timely manner and maintain accurate billing records.
• Update and manage customer account information to ensure master data remains current and reliable.
• Partner with internal departments to investigate and resolve invoice variances, missing information, and related billing issues.
• Prepare recurring sales summaries and shipment analyses for weekly and monthly reporting needs.
• Review sales and inventory-related records to confirm invoice accuracy and identify any inconsistencies.
• Produce daily sales reporting for management and operations teams to support ongoing business visibility.
• Examine tooling-related accounts and issue customer billings when charges apply.
• Provide documentation and support for audit inquiries and contribute to special assignments requested by management.
• Experience performing billing and invoicing functions in an accounting or finance environment.
• Working knowledge of collections, billing statements, and cash application processes.
• Familiarity with computerized billing platforms and ERP systems such as SAP.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify financial data and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to analyze sales, shipment, and inventory information to support billing accuracy.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to resolve issues.
• Proficiency with standard business software and reporting tools used for financial tracking and analysis
