Summary: The Manager, Supply Chain Accounting is responsible to ensuring that the Acushnet inventory and related reserves are accurate and presented in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP). Additionally, you will provide financial leadership to the Distribution team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for US inventory and COGS accounting and reporting. Review monthly inventory balances and prepare analytics.
  • Calculate monthly inventory reserves and review with business unit teams for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare quarterly inventory forecasts.
  • Review/Analyze monthly business unit margin variances to plan and provide necessary explanations.
  • Business partner with the Distribution Team to provide financial leadership, review results, recommend accruals, and prepare ad hoc analyses to support strategic decisions.
  • Maintain ERP system for Purchase for Resale Product including executing cost rolls and reviewing system transactions.
  • Support new business initiatives by reviewing strategic business tests for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support ERP initiative as a subject matter expert (SME).

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business required. CPA/CIA or other designation preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive experience. Industry experience with a publicly traded multinational consumer products company is preferred.
  • Experience leading others is required. Previous experience in a management role preferred
  • Strong enthusiasm for technology, innovation and a fast-paced business environment. Enthusiasm and passion for athletics, golf, and the Titleist and FootJoy brands.
