Record Management Specialist
Join our Centralized Record Control Center (CRCC) as a Record Management Specialist – Special Projects. This vital role is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of historical paper medical records, ensuring they are properly prepared for offsite storage. salary: $23 - $25 per hourshift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of this role focus on the end-to-end processing of legacy paper medical records:
- Record Retrieval: Process and retrieve pre-electronic health record (EHR) paper records from the onsite file room/warehouse.
- Data Entry: Perform accurate data entry of patient demographic information using the Record Management database tool.
- Quality Control & Archiving: Conduct quality checks on data entry and/or accurately box medical records for transfer to offsite storage.
- Productivity Tracking: Record and report daily volume and productivity of work completed.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage time effectively in a time-sensitive production environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic Microsoft Office skills are preferred.
- Work Style: Ability to work independently and effectively in a group/team setting.
