Opportunity Overview
Teradyne is seeking a talented, experienced Senior Reliability Design Engineer to join our team in North Reading, Massachusetts. In this role, you will help ensure the robustness and dependability of our products by applying reliability engineering concepts and methodologies from design through production. All About You
The successful candidate has a BSEE, BSME, or equivalent and 8+ years of reliability engineering experience in the design of electrical and electromechanical assemblies. An MS in Reliability Engineering and experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) design are a plus. Ability to facilitate Design FMEA (DFMEA) activities.

Experience with environmental stress testing and failure analysis to root cause.

Hands-on experience with Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT).

Experience applying statistical methods for accelerated life testing and component evaluation.

Experience designing test fixtures and developing test procedures.

Working knowledge of test equipment and instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators) with the ability to set up tests and write clear test reports.

Experience applying Design for Reliability (DfR/DFR) guidelines.

Proficiency with component derating and application.

Working knowledge of reliability budgeting, estimating, and reliability growth methods.

Ability to apply redundancy and fault-tolerant design techniques.

Understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance concepts.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, statistical software, and reliability tools (e.g., Weibull++, BlockSim, Alta preferred) as well as Ansys Sherlock and Ansys Mechanical.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence and persuade.

High energy with strong presentation and training skills.

Ability to travel approximately 10%.
We are considering candidates local to the position location and are unable to provide relocation assistance for this role.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is?$141,400- $226,200.?This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
