Senior Payroll Specialist

The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of biweekly payroll, ensuring full compliance with multi-state tax regulations and internal policies. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries, ensuring a high level of service and strict confidentiality.

salary: $35 - $40 per hour

Responsibilities

• Payroll Administration: Process end-to-end biweekly payroll for all employees.

• Multi-State Compliance: Manage tax filings, withholdings, and compliance requirements across multiple U.S. states.

• Reconciliations: Perform detailed payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy in the general ledger and tax reporting.

• System Management: Maintain employee data and payroll records within ADP .

• Audit Support: Assist with year-end processing and external payroll-related audits.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in payroll administration.

• Proficiency in ADP is required.

• Experience with Paycor is a significant plus.

• strong knowledge of multi-state payroll laws and tax regulations.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (data analysis and reporting).

• High level of attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
