Mechanical Engineer

Acara Solution is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for Our client located in Quincy, MA

• Mechanical Design Engineer for the Autonomous Maritime Platforms Business, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and development of advanced autonomous subsea systems and vehicles.
• We are looking for a dynamic individual to support our mission of delivering cutting edge solutions to our valued customers.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with SolidWorks MCAD and PTC Windchill PDM Software

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Master's Degree
• Mechanical Engineering Design
• Engineering background in the Undersea Domain
• Knowledge of autonomous/unmanned undersea vehicle (AUV/UUVs) technologies, principles, theories, and concepts
• Hands-on experience assembling prototype systems
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Creative thinker ready to design and develop innovative solutions from conception to production
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
