Position Summary

This position develops new revenue opportunities from customers and corporate profit margin whenever obtainable and ensures that we deliver on opportunities. This role plays an integral part in establishing business relationships with customers and driving new business throughout the organization. Develop relationships to promote sales growth through inbound and outbound contacts. Sales and service act as the liaison between the customer & all internal departments. As such, customer responsiveness, teamwork, accuracy, and thoroughness are imperative to the position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop relationships and promote sales growth through outbound contacts and generating leads
  • Responsible for meeting assigned sales revenue targets
  • Create and execute tactical sales plans
  • Seek out and develop new customers through leads provided and outbound calls that encourage customer visits and presentations
  • Build revenue opportunities by utilizing standard follow-up activities and searching for additional applications, increased volume, referrals, cross-selling, and understanding the value proposition brought to the customer.
  • Record all communications, tasks and customer information in CRM.
  • Ensure all customer communication made through CRM (HubSpot), is up-to-date, clean, and tasks are always completed on time.
  • Assists other customer care team members when appropriate.
  • Utilize internal resources for more complex sales solutions and technical issues.
  • Notify Sales Management of customer concerns that may impact business relationships or profitability.
  • Responsible for organized and clean work area.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient use of materials and equipment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Customer sales/customer service experience is preferred;
  • Strong computer and systems experience is required (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, internet);
  • Excellent communication skills focusing on oral, written, and listening abilities;
  • Demonstrated people skills with an ability to build key relationships with potential customers;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Solution-driven with the ability to work through a problem and maintain focus under pressure;
  • Active team player who always exhibits a positive work attitude and can work with little supervision;
  • A desire to work with a high-performance team and a willingness to grow and be challenged!
