Job Summary:
The Retail Support Coordinator will provide essential daily support for retail stores, ensuring seamless communication, efficient operations, and effective problem-solving. This role is responsible for managing vendor shipments to over 80 retail stores, overseeing invoices, and building weekly and monthly reports for the Retail Department. This role will assist in streamlining communication between retail stores and corporate departments, ensuring all operational needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Retail Support: Provide ongoing direction and problem-solving support to retail stores to ensure seamless operations.
- Stock and Ordering Management: Oversee the ordering and management of key store supplies housed at the office.
- Vendor Shipment Oversight: Ensure the accurate and timely receiving of vendor shipments to retail stores.
- Shipping and Logistics: Collaborate with Retail Stores, Buying Team, and Vendors to resolve any shipping-related issues and ensure timely deliveries.
- Vendor Invoicing: Work closely with the Accounting Department to ensure accurate invoices from vendors, addressing any discrepancies.
- Inventory Discrepancies: Collaborate with the Asset Protection Department to investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies related to shipments.
- Cycle Count Preparation: Assist retail stores in preparing for and conducting accurate weekly cycle counts.
- Reporting: Build, manage, and run several weekly and monthly reports for the Retail Department.
- Store Review Reports: Compile and analyze data and feedback to create Bi-Monthly and Annual Store Review reports.
- Communication Management: Serve as the point of contact for all communication from Home Office Departments to Retail Stores, ensuring effective and timely delivery of information.
- Intranet Management: Manage the company’s intranet platform to ensure that all documents, communications, and resources are up to date for easy access by retail teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Retail and/or a Support role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using software for reporting, inventory management, and communication (Microsoft Excel, Office Suite, intranet platforms).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with diligence.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Knowledge of supply chain coordination and inventory management is a plus.
