SEAS Leisure Program Director
Seasonal (SEAS) Position
Barnstable Recreation is looking for a candidate with strong organizational skills, great leadership qualities and people skills who enjoys children and leading children's activities. The candidate would run one (out of 5) Leisure Program sites with approximately 60 participants and 12-15 staff. The Leisure Program is a seven week summer program which runs from June 29 to August 14, 2026. Staff hours are 7:45 AM-4:45 PM, with one day a week starting at 7:30 AM. Must be available for Parent Orientation on June 13th, 2026 and Staff Orientation on June 23-26th, 2026.
Job Description:
Performs routine and complex administrative work in planning, organizing and coordinating a Summer Leisure Program for children 6-13 years old. Has responsibilities in supervising the staff at their site. is responsible for the daily schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be attending college or a college graduate; Considerable knowledge of summer programming and at least 3 years of summer program experience or camp experience; First Aid/ CPR certified and a valid driver's license, must pass a CORI and SORI check. Concussion Training a plus!

$18.00 hourly, no benefits
