Staff Pharmacist – Infusion Pharmacy
Location: Cambridge, MACompensation: $75 per hour (Flexible)
Schedule: Part-Time through year-end with the opportunity to transition to Full-Time in 2026. Exceptional candidates may be considered for alternative scheduling. Summary:
Our client is seeking a patient-focused Staff Pharmacist to join a growing infusion pharmacy team. This role supports infusion therapy services while ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing in a collaborative clinical environment.
No infusion or sterile compounding experience required. Training is provided.
What You’ll Do
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness
- Evaluate drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing considerations
- Communicate with prescribers and care teams when needed
- Support sterile compounding activities following USP <797> and <800> standards (training provided)
- Maintain proper labeling, lot tracking, and inventory practices
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and clinical staff
- PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Active Massachusetts Pharmacist License (or ability to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Interest in infusion therapy or specialty pharmacy
- $75 per hour (flexible compensation)
- Training in the growing home infusion industry
