Fabricator/Welder
LEI Corporation is seeking a skilled and motivated Fabricator/Welder to join our dedicated team. As a key member of our fabrication shop, you will work with steel and aluminum to build, repair, and modify equipment that supports our operations year-round, including during winter storms. Responsibilities
- Fabricate, cut, fit, and assemble steel and aluminum components according to specifications
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and aluminum materials
- Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and fabrication specifications
- Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, grinders, plasma cutters, and other shop tools
- Repair and modify equipment as needed to support ongoing operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs as required
- Be available to work extended hours during winter storms to support snow and ice operations
Qualifications
- Experience fabricating and welding steel and aluminum
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and fit materials
- Mechanical knowledge and equipment repair experience preferred
- Proficient in safely operating fabrication and welding equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license required
