Apprentice Voice Instructor | Performing Arts Studio
Triple Threat Studio in Hanover, MA is hiring a part-time Apprentice Voice Instructor to join a close-knit, growing team of performing arts educators.
The Role: This is a structured apprenticeship position - ideal for an early-career performer who wants to develop real skills in vocal instruction. You will be trained directly by our studio director in a contemporary, technique-forward vocal pedagogy approach. Expect to shadow lessons, co-teach, and build toward carrying your own roster of students over a 4–6 month onboarding arc.
What We're Looking For:
- A background in singing - musical theatre, choir, performance, or similar
- Basic keyboard/piano proficiency
- Genuine curiosity about voice science and vocal technique
- Strong interpersonal skills with young people (middle school through high school)
- No ego about being a beginner teacher - this is a learning role
What We're NOT Looking For:
- Someone who's "done learning" - we want a sponge, not a finished teacher
- A degree in music education is not required and is honestly not preferred; we train our own
Compensation & Hours:
- Competitive part-time hourly rate during training
- Per-lesson compensation structure as your caseload grows
- Primarily afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays
